A mounting structure for securing a center console onto a frame of a vehicle is described. The mounting structure includes a bracket defined with an elongated section. The elongated section is defined with a substantially flat surface defining an installation space. The elongated section extends in a lengthwise direction of the vehicle and having a first end and a second end. The mounting structure further includes a plurality of legs. Each of the plurality of legs extending downwardly from at least one of the first end and the second end. Each of the plurality of legs being configured to be secured to a floor panel of the vehicle. The center console is configured to be mounted on the installation space defined on the elongated section and is supported on the floor panel by each of the plurality of legs.
