India is the largest lemon producer in the world with 2,978,000 tonnes of production volume per year in area of 2,86,000 Hectare. Out of these 10% of lemon gets wasted due to fruit drop from the tree. Generally, lemons can fall from the tree if the trees produce an excessive amount of lemon, so rapid harvesting of lemon is important. In harvesting, the collection of lemon is an important process because-the fallen lemon may rotten quickly. Thus, the process of lemon collection needs to be seriously considered. Mostly lemons are collected manually by the people, but this way is having several drawbacks and demerits. In order to properly manage the collection of lemon cleanly, there is a need for a lemon-collecting machine that can collect it efficiently. In this project, a lemon-collecting machine with roller-type rolling picker that can be controlled using mobile application is done, also the collected lemons can be stored in a separate collecting station. The lemon collecting machine is a device where the fruits are collected into elliptical shaped picker which consists of aluminium wires that are fitted into holders. This machine is easy to handle, faster operation, most importantly operator no longer having back pain. This machine could provide significant advantages to the industry by increasing productivity through the efficient collection of lemon. Hence, we propose an aim at development of power driven lemon collector.
