The present invention relates to a surface smoothing device for smoothing the surface of ABS natured thermoplastic parts, comprising at least two chambers, wherein first chamber 1, comprising of a storage unit 5 for preserving acetone liquid, a heating vessel 6 in association with a PID temperature controller 8 for converting acetone liquid into vapors, wherein the PID temperature controller 8 controls the temperature of heating vessel 6, a mist mixer 7 is installed in a heating vessel 6 for accelerating the formation of vapors, a second chamber 2 is for smoothing and finishing process, comprises of a hook 4 in association with a sliding bar 9 for holding the ABS parts and moving it in a particular direction, a fan 10 for circulating the acetone vapors throughout the first chamber 1 and at least two fans 11 attached to the first chamber 1 for cooling the ABS parts that is finished and smoothened by the circulation of vapors.

We Claim:
A surface smoothing device, comprising:
a) a first chamber 1, comprising:
i) a storage unit 5 attached to said first chamber 1 for preserving acetone
liquid; ii) a heating vessel 6 in association with a temperature controller 5 for
converting said liquid into vapors; iii) at least one sensor connected to said vessel, wherein said sensor detects
the temperature of said liquid and provides signals to said heating
vessel; iv) a mist mixer 7 attached to said vessel 6 for accelerating the formation of
said vapors.
b) a second chamber 2 associated with said first chamber, wherein said
second chamber comprising;
i. a hook 4 in association with a sliding bar 9 for holding and sliding an
object in a pre-defined direction; ii. a fan 10 associated with said heating vessel 6 for circulating said acetone vapors throughout said first chamber 1; and
c) at least two fans 11 attached to said first chamber 1 for cooling said object,
wherein a surface of said object is smoothened by circulating of said
The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said object is preferably an Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) component.
The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first chamber is a lower chamber preferably made up of wood.
The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said second chamber is an upper chamber preferably made up of glass.
The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said temperature controller 8 is preferably a Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) temperature controller 8.
The device as claimed in claim 1 or 5, wherein said temperature controller 8 associated with said heating vessel 6 and controls the temperature of said heating vessel 6.
The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein a step-down transformer 12 is embedded inside said first chamber 1 for controlling an output power of said device.
The system as claimed in claim 1 or 8, wherein an external power source is connected to said step down transformer for supplying power for the operation of said device.
