摘要:
A steel comprising (by weight): 0.04-0.1 % carbon, 10.5-13 % chromium, 1.5-3.75 % molybdenum, 0.3-1.2 % vanadium, 0.3-2.0 % nickel, 6-9 % cobalt, 0.05-0.4 % silicon, 0.2-0.8 % manganese, 0.02-0.06 % niobium, 0-2.5 % copper, 0-0.1 % aluminium, 0-250 ppm nitrogen and 0-30 ppm boron, with the balance being iron and impurities. The steel can be used to make an aerospace bearing component such as an inner ring an outer ring or a rolling element with a microstructure that comprises martensite, one or more of carbides, nitrides and/or carbonitrides and optionally retained austenite, with the surface of the component having been case-carburised and/or carbonitrided. After carburising and/or carbonitriding the surface nitride or borided, burnished, tempered, ground, lapped or honed. The components can be made by forging, additive manufacturing or spray forming.
