La invención se refiere a un aplicador de máscara que tiene una forma generalmente oblonga y que se extiende a lo largo de un eje principal (A), comprendiendo el aplicador (1) al menos tres segmentos (4) distribuidos alrededor del eje principal (A) para definir entre ellos un cavidad interna (5) del aplicador (1). Los segmentos (4) se extienden entre una base (2) a la que están conectados y un extremo libre (3) del aplicador (1), opuesto a la base (2), y tienen una forma tal que la cavidad (5) tiene una forma axisimétrica alrededor del eje principal (A), estando dicha cavidad (5) abierta a través de espacios formados entre los segmentos (4). Los segmentos (4) se extienden en espiral alrededor del eje principal. La invención así desarrollada permite obtener un aplicador de máscara que ofrece una gran autonomía gracias a una cavidad interna y cuya configuración tridimensional general proporciona una buena flexibilidad y permite una fácil aplicación sobre las pestañas.

2. Applicator for mascara according to claim 1, wherein the branches(4) meet in the vicinity of the free end (3) where they are connected together.
3. Applicator for mascara according to claim 1 or claim 2 the branches of which are five in number (41...45).
4. Applicator for mascara according to one of the preceding claims, each protrusion of the applicator having a length comprised between 0.2 mm and 2.5 mm.
5. Applicator for mascara according to one of the preceding claims, wherein, on each branch (4), the protrusions (8) are aligned in two rows or in three rows between the base (2) and the free end (3).
6. Applicator for mascara according to claim 5, wherein the protrusions (8) of two adjacent rows are disposed in staggered arrangement.
7. Applicator for mascara according to one of the preceding claims, wherein each branch turns, from the base (2) to the free end (3) of the applicator and around the main axis (A), through an angle comprised between 45° and 90°, preferably comprised between 55° and 75°.
8. Applicator for mascara according to one of the preceding claims formed from a thermoplastic polymer selected from: - polyamide, - polyacrylamide, and - polyetherketoneketone.
9. Applicator for mascara according to one of the preceding claims formed by additive manufacturing by thermoplastic polymer powder bed fusion.
