A dishwasher (10) for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation, the dishwasher (10) comprising: a chassis; a tub (14) supported by the chassis and at least partially defining a treating chamber (16) for receiving dishes; a structural element (102) extending from the chassis along the tub (14) and defining a socket (112), the structural element (102) including a column (104) extending in a vertical direction between a top (105) and a bottom (106); and a drain line (62) extending between an inlet (132) and an outlet (134) and received in the socket (112), characterized in that the socket (112) includes a first vertical portion (114) extending from the bottom (106) at least partially along the column (104), a second vertical portion (116) being located next to the first vertical portion (114) and extending parallel to the first vertical portion (114) from the bottom (106) at least partially along the first vertical portion (114). 2. The dishwasher (10) of claim 1 wherein the socket (112) comprises a top portion (122) connecting the first vertical portion (114) to the second vertical portion (116). 3. The dishwasher (10) of claim 2 wherein the top portion (122) further comprises a cut-out (126). 4. The dishwasher (10) of claim 3 wherein the drain line (62) further comprises a check valve (156) located at the cut-out (126). 5. The dishwasher (10) of claim 4 further comprising an air hose (160) fluidly coupled to the check valve (156) and open to ambient air (166). 6. The dishwasher (10) of claim 2 wherein the first and second vertical portions (114, 116) extend parallel to each other. 7. The dishwasher (10) of claim 6 wherein the first and second vertical portions (114, 116) together with the top portion (122) define a P-shape. 8. The dishwasher (10) of claim 7 further comprising a water tank (180) formed to fit with the P-shaped socket (112) along a sidewall (168) of the tub (14). 9. The dishwasher (10) of claim 2 further comprising an air break component and the top portion (122) is located at a higher elevation than an air outlet (164) of the air break component. 10. The dishwasher (10) of claim 1 wherein the socket (112) further comprises tabs (128) for holding the drain line (62) in place. 11. The dishwasher (10) of claim 10 wherein the drain line (62) is snap-fit into the socket (112). 12. The dishwasher (10) of claim 1 wherein the structural element (102) is injection molded plastic. 13. The dishwasher (10) of claim 1 wherein the top (105) of the column (104) is located at a higher elevation than a top (118) of the first vertical portion (114) which in turn is at a higher elevation than a top (120) of the second vertical portion (116).
