A fastener, comprising a first hinge member (191) comprising a first leaf (192), a knuckle (193), a key groove (190), a keyway (186) and a pin (194, 206); and a second hinge member (195) comprising a second leaf (196), a key (197) and a barrel (198), wherein the key groove (190) is configured to receive the key (197) and the barrel (198) is configured to receive the pin (194), and, when the fastener is locked or in use, the key (197) is engaged with the key groove (190, 202) and the pin (194, 206) is engaged with the barrel (198) allowing the first and second hinge members to pivot about the pin (194, 206); wherein the keyway (186) is comprised of elevated curls (189) on the pin, said keyway (186) configured to receive the key (197) and the key (197) is guided through the keyway during locking and unlocking of the first and second hinge members (191, 195); and wherein the keyway comprises one or more legs (187, 188, 200, 203, 204, 205, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211).
2. The fastener according to claim 1, wherein the key groove (190, 202) extends circumferentially with respect to the pin (194, 206).
3. A neckwear comprising one or more of the fasteners of claim 1.

The fastener according to claim 1, wherein the one or more legs comprises a first leg (187, 200, 207) and a second leg (188, 203, 208), the first leg of the keyway extends along a longitudinal axis of the pin, and the second leg of the keyway extends circumferentially with respect to the pin (194, 206).
5. The fastener according to claim 4, wherein the key groove (190, 202) extends circumferentially with respect to the pin (194, 206).
6. The fastener according to claim 1, wherein the one or more legs comprises a first leg, and the key departs the key groove at an entry point of the first leg (187).

A fastener according to claim 1, wherein said keyway comprises a first leg (200, 207), a second leg (203, 208), and a third leg (204, 209), the first leg of the keyway intersects the key groove (202) at a first entry point accommodating the key, the second leg of the keyway intersects the first leg of the keyway, and the third leg of the keyway intersects the second leg of the keyway.
8. The fastener according to claim 7, wherein the first leg (200, 207) of the keyway extends along a longitudinal axis of the pin (206) and the second leg (203, 208) of the keyway extends circumferentially with respect to the pin (206).
9. The fastener according to claim 7, wherein the key departs the key groove at an entry point of the first leg (187).
10. The fastener according to claim 7, wherein the key groove (190) extends circumferentially with respect to the pin.
11. A neckwear comprising one or more of the fasteners of claim 7.
12. A pair of jewelry articles connected together by the fastener of claim 1 or claim 7.
