The present invention provides an arrangement for suspending a lighting device, which securely fastens the spring element in the housing of the arrangement. Arrangement (100) for suspending a lighting device, wherein the arrangement (100) comprises a spring element (110) and a housing (200) accommodating at least a portion of the spring element (110), wherein the spring element (110) has a U-shaped central portion (120) and a first and a second coil (130a, 130b) extending from a respective first and second leg (140a, 140b) of the central portion (120) and along a first axis (A) parallel to a base (145) of the central portion (120), the first and a second coils (130a, 130b) being, in an unbiased state of the spring element (110), spaced apart by a first distance (d) along the axis (A), wherein the housing (200) comprises: - a first and a second cavity (210a, 210b) spaced apart by the first distance (d) and fittingly accommodating the first and second coil (130a, 130b), respectively, - a support element (300) arranged between the first and second cavities (210a, 210b) and configured to confine the first and second coils (130a, 130b) accommodated within the first and second cavity (210a, 210b), respectively, and - a first and a second passage (500a, 500b) extending along a second axis (C) perpendicular to the first axis (A) and into the first and the second cavity (210a, 210b), respectively, the first and second passages (500a, 500b) being configured to guide the first and second coils (130a, 130b) into the first and second cavities (210a, 210b), respectively, upon an arrangement of the spring element (110) into the housing (200), wherein the support element (300) comprises at least one flange (400a, 400b) extending from the support element (300) along the first axis (A), the at least one flange (400a, 400b) having a wedge-shape along the second axis (C), and the at least one flange (400a, 400b) being configured to support at least a portion of the respective first and second coil (130a, 130b), and to narrow the first and second passages (500a, 500b) along the second axis (C).
2. The arrangement (100) according to claim 1, wherein each of the first and second coils comprises an end portion (150a, 150b) projecting perpendicular to the first axis (A), and wherein each of the first and second cavities (210a, 210b) comprises a respective support surface (220a, 220b) configured to support the end portions (150a, 150b) of the first and second coils (130a, 130b) upon biasing the spring element (110) by rotation of the central portion (120) of the spring element (110) around the first axis (A).
3. The arrangement (100) according to claim 1, wherein the end portions (150a, 150b) of the first and second coils (130a, 130b), in an unbiased state of the spring element (110), and in a plane (B) perpendicular to the first axis (A), are spaced in arc length from the support surfaces (220a, 220b), such that the spring element (110), upon arrangement of the end portions (150a, 150b) of the first and second coils (130a, 130b) against the respective support surface (220a, 220b) via rotation of the end portions (150a, 150b) around the first axis (A), becomes biased around the first axis (A).
4. The arrangement (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising a U-shaped locking element (600) having a first and a second leg portion (610a, 610b) configured for mating engagement with the first and second passages (500a, 500b) of the housing (200).
5. A luminaire (700), comprising: - a lighting device (710) arranged to hold at least one light source, and - an arrangement (100) according to any one of the preceding claims for suspending the lighting device (710).
6. The luminaire of claim 5, wherein the lighting device (710) and the housing (200) of the arrangement (100) are integrally formed into one piece.
7. A method (800) of producing an arrangement according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the method comprises the steps of: - providing the spring element (110); - forming the housing (200) by a 3D-printing process; and - inserting the spring element (100) into the housing (200) by arranging the first and second coils (130a, 130b) in the first and second cavities (210a, 210b), respectively.
8. A method of producing a luminaire (800), wherein the method comprises the steps of: - forming a lighting device by a 3D-printing process, and - performing the method of claim 7 in the same 3D-printing process, such that the lighting device and the housing (200) of the arrangement (100) for suspending the lighting device are integrally formed into one piece.
