1. A luminaire comprising; a light engine (1) for emitting light, and an optical structure (2) positioned to receive the light emitted by the light engine (1), wherein the light engine (1) comprises one or more LEDs (6) mounted on a printed circuit board (7), the printed circuit board (7) being attached to a housing (12), and wherein the optical structure (2) has a fixing (10) for removably attaching the optical structure (2) to the housing (12), wherein the luminaire further comprises a decorative element (3), wherein the optical structure (2) has a protruding annular portion (9) extending around its circumference, characterized in that, said decorative element (3) is removably supported by said protruding annular portion (9) proximate to said light engine (1), and wherein the decorative element (3) is manufactured with a circular hole having a larger diameter than a diameter of the housing (12) but smaller than a diameter of the annular portion (9).
2. A luminaire according to claim 1, wherein said optical structure (2) comprises a diffuser for diffusing the light emitted by said light engine (1).
3. A luminaire according to claim 1, wherein said optical structure (2) comprises a lens and/or reflector for directing the light emitted by said light engine (1).
4. A luminaire according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the luminaire comprises a further fixing for attaching the luminaire in a desired location, said further fixing comprising a mechanical connection (14) and an electrical connection (15).

A luminaire according to claim 4, said luminaire further comprising; an electrical wire (5), and a mechanical support wire, said electrical wire (5) providing an electrical path between said electrical connection (15) and said light engine (1), said mechanical support wire providing a mechanical connection between said further fixing and said light engine (1), wherein said light engine (1) is in a remote location from said electrical connection (15) and mechanical connection (14).

A luminaire according to claim 4, said luminaire further comprising an electrical wire (5), said electrical wire (5) providing an electrical path between said electrical connection (15) and said light engine (1), said electrical connection (15) and electrical wire (5) further providing a mechanical connection between said further fixing and said light engine (1) wherein said light engine (1) is in a remote location from said electrical connection (15).
7. A luminaire according to claim 4, further comprising a decorative cover (4), said decorative cover (4) covering the mechanical connection (14) and electrical connection (15).
