1. A method of manufacturing an article of footwear, comprising: performing a scan of a foot of a user; creating a data file including a three-dimensional design for at least a sole structure and an upper for an article of footwear for the user based on the scan performed; fusing particles of a thermoplastic elastomer material together using laser energy in a rapid manufacturing additive fabrication technique to thereby form at least the sole structure and the upper of the article of footwear for the user based on the three-dimensional design; and exposing the upper to an infiltrate to alter the strength of the upper, and exposing the sole structure to an infiltrate to alter a hardness property of the sole structure, wherein the infiltrate used in forming the sole structure has a higher hardness level than the infiltrate used in forming the upper.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of performing the scan includes obtaining information regarding a width of the foot.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of performing the scan includes obtaining information regarding a length of the foot.
4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of performing the scan includes obtaining information regarding a thickness of the foot.
5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of performing the scan includes obtaining information regarding an arch location of the foot.
6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of performing the scan includes obtaining information regarding an arch height of the foot.
7. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of performing the scan includes obtaining information regarding a heel curvature of the foot.
8. The method according to claim 1, wherein the fusing step includes laser sintering to form the sole structure and the upper for the article of footwear.
9. The method according to claim 1, wherein the fusing step includes performing stereolithography to form the sole structure and the upper for the article of footwear.
10. The method according to claim 1, wherein the fusing step includes forming the upper, and forming a midsole impact force attenuation system as the sole structure for the article of footwear.
11. An article of footwear including a sole structure formed by the rapid manufacturing additive fabrication technique according to the method of any one of claims 1 to 10.
