摘要:
A method for labeling fabrics, such as fabric garments, and a heat-transfer label (311) well-suited for use in said method. In one embodiment, the heat-transfer label (311) comprises (i) a support portion (313), the support portion (313) comprising a carrier (315) and a release layer (317); (ii) a wax layer (319), the wax layer overcoating the release layer (317); and (iii) a transfer portion (321), the transfer portion (321) comprising an adhesive layer (323) printed directly onto the wax layer (319) and an ink design layer (325) printed directly onto the adhesive layer (323). Each of the adhesive layer (323) and the ink design layer includes a non-cross-linked PVC resin. The ink design layer may be screen printed onto the adhesive layer (323) or may be printed onto the adhesive layer (323) using thermal transfer printing, ink jet printing or laser printing.
技术问题语段:
The technical problem addressed in this patent is the irritation and damage caused by permanent care labels attached to garments, which can be removed by the wearer but also results in a loss of information. The invention proposes a heat-transfer label that can be applied to garments and does not require a cool-down period, but instead quickly and cleanly transfers to the garment and can be peeled away without leaving any residue.
技术功效语段:
The present patent provides a new method for labeling fabrics, such as garments, using a heat-transfer label. The label is made up of a carrier, a release coating, and an ink design layer. The label is transferred to the fabric by heat and pressure, and the method allows for the creation of custom labels with a unique design. The label is made using a heat-activatable adhesive layer and an RFID device, which allows for the label to be read without needing to peel it off. The method also involves printing the ink design layer directly onto the heat-activatable adhesive layer, resulting in a more precise and custom label. Overall, the method provides a more efficient and effective way to label fabrics.
