CLAIMS: 1. A storage device comprising: at least one outer surface, wherein said at least one outer surface has arranged on it at least one three-dimensional protrusion extend- ing from the outer surface; and wherein said three-dimensional protrusion extending from the at least one outer surface includes at least two mutually superimposed and interconnected layers. 2. The storage device according to claim 1, wherein the at least one pro- trusion is a rib-shaped protrusion. 3. The storage device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the protrusion extending from the outer surface is formed of at least two mutually superimposed and interconnected layers. 4. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the layers of the at least one protrusion are printed. 5. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the at least one protrusion comprises more than three mutually superim- posed and interconnected layers. 6. The storage device according to claim 5, wherein the more than three mutually superimposed and interconnected layers are printed onto each other. 7. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the at least two mutually superimposed and interconnected layers consist of a material which comprises at least one of silicone and a ceramic paste. 12 8. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein that a first layer of the at least two mutually superimposed and intercon- nected layers of the at least one protrusion which is adjacent to the outer surface is the lowermost layer, and that a second layer of the at least two mutually superimposed and interconnected layers of the pro- trusion which is most remote from the outer surface is the uppermost layer, the at least two mutually superimposed and interconnected lay- ers having different widths, and the lowermost layer being wider than the uppermost layer. 9. The storage device according to claim 8, wherein the widths of a plu- rality of mutually superimposed ones of the at least two mutually su- perimposed and interconnected layers decrease, from the lowermost layer to the uppermost layer. 10. The storage device according to claim 9, wherein the widths of the plu- rality of mutually superimposed ones of the at least two mutually su- perimposed and interconnected layers decrease continuously from the lowermost layer to the uppermost layer. 11. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 10, wherein the at least two mutually superimposed and interconnected layers are printed by at least one of offset printing, screen printing and a 3D printing method. 12. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, wherein a plurality of said three-dimensional protrusions are arranged on the outer surface, the plurality of the three-dimensional protrusion protru- sions being positioned on the outer surface with uniform distribution. 13. The storage device according to any one of claims 2 to 12, wherein the rib-shaped protrusion has a varying height in the longitudinal direction of the rib-shaped protrusions, wherein the rib-shaped protrusion com- prises a central area and edge areas, the central area of the rib- shaped protrusion being higher than the edge areas of the rib-shaped protrusion. 14. The storage device according to any one of claims 2 to 13, wherein a thickness of each individual layer of the rib-shaped protrusion varies in the longitudinal direction of the rib-shaped protrusion. 15. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 14, wherein the colors of each individual layer of the three-dimensional protrusions vary. 16. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 15, wherein an additional outer layer is provided, the additional outer later being ar- ranged on the three-dimensional protrusions. 17. The storage device according to claim 16, wherein the additional outer later being arranged on the outer surface of the storage device. 18. The storage device according to claim 16, wherein said additional outer layer comprises at least one second three-dimensional protrusion ap- plied by a thermoforming method, the second three-dimensional pro- trusion being adapted to the at least one three-dimensional protrusion arranged on the outer surface. 19. The storage device according to any one of claims 2 to 18, wherein the storage device is a piece of baggage comprising two major surfaces and four lateral surfaces, at least one of the major surfaces comprising said least one three-dimensional protrusions, and the longitudinal di- rection of the rib-shaped protrusion extending parallel to the longitudi- nal direction of the major surfaces. 14 20. The storage device according to any one of claims 1 to 18, wherein the storage device comprises at least one of a piece of baggage and a purse. 21. A method for applying at least one protrusion on at least one outer surface of a storage device, said method comprising the following steps: applying a first layer to the outer surface of an outer wall of the stor- age device; and applying a second layer to the first layer for forming a three- dimensional protrusion. 22. The method according to claim 21, wherein the step of applying the first layer further comprises impressing the first layer to the outer surface of the outer wall. 23. The method according to claim 21 or 22, wherein the step of apply- ing the second layer further comprises impressing the second layer onto the first layer. 24. The method according to any one of claims 21 to 23, further com- prising applying further layers onto the second layer.
