CLAIMS 1. A base paper for a wallpaper to be coated with PVC-based plastic comprising at least two fibrous layers manufactured of a fibre material. 2. Abase paper according to claim 1, wherein the fibre compositions of the fibrous layers are different. 3. A base paper according to claim 2, wherein the fibrous layers include mechanical and chemical pulp and the share of chemical pulp is greater in a surface layer to be coated with the plastic than in the remainder of the base paper including at least one back layer, and the share of mechanical pulp and/or broke is greater in the remainder than in the surface layer. 4. Abase paper according to claim 2, wherein the share of chemical pulp is greater in the back layer than in a layer adjacent to it, such as an intermediate layer or the surface layer. 5. A base paper according to any one of the preceding claims, having a basis weight below 180 g/m? and not less than 80 g/m? 6. A plastic-coated wallpaper comprising a base paper manufactured of a fibre material and a plastic coating spread as a dispersion on top of the base paper and forming a uniform tight plastic surface, e.g., a PVC-based coating, wherein the base paper consists of at least two fibrous layers manufactured of fibre material. /. A wallpaper according to claim 6, wherein the fibre compositions of the fibrous layers of the base paper are different. 8. A wallpaper according to claim 7, wherein the fibrous layers include mechanical and chemical pulp and the share of chemical pulp is greater in a surface layer directly underneath the plastic coating than in the remainder of the base paper consisting of at least one back layer, and the share of mechanical pulp and/or broke is greater in the remainder than in the surface layer. 9. A wallpaper according to claim 7, wherein the share of chemical pulp is greater in the back layer than in one of an intermediate layer or the surface layer respectively adjacent thereto. 10. A wallpaper according to any of the claims 6 to 8, wherein the basis weight of the base paper is below 180 g/m? and not less than 80 g/m? 11. A base paper as defined in claim 5, wherein the basis weight is 80 to 120 g/m? 12. A wallpaper as defined in claim 10, wherein the basis weight is 80 to 120 g/m?
